Autonomic Disorders and Neurogenic Orthostatic Hypotension (nOH)

Beyond Parkinson’s disease, multiple system atrophy (MSA), and pure autonomic failure (PAF), nOH is associated with other autonomic disorders, such as dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency (DBH).

Dopamine Beta-hydroxylase Deficiency (DBH)

DBH is a very rare disease that affects the autonomic nervous system. Nearly all patients with DBH will have severe OH by their early adult years. DBH appears to be present at birth, but it is not typically diagnosed until late childhood when OH becomes more severe.

Multiple system atrophy
